OXEN Sports is delighted to announce the signing of Ireland international and Ulster Rugby star Jacob Stockdale as an official OXEN Athlete.
The 30-year-old wing and full-back joins OXEN's growing roster of elite rugby talent, further strengthening the brand's presence in professional rugby union and its commitment to supporting athletes competing at the highest level of the game.
Renowned for his explosive pace, physicality and exceptional try-scoring ability, Stockdale has established himself as one of the most recognisable players in Irish rugby.
His breakthrough on the international stage came during the 2018 Six Nations Championship, when he scored a record seven tries as Ireland secured the Grand Slam. His outstanding performances saw him named Six Nations Player of the Championship.
Later that year, Stockdale scored a memorable try as Ireland recorded their first-ever home victory over New Zealand, cementing his reputation as one of the most exciting attacking talents in world rugby.
Having represented Ireland at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, Stockdale has continued to perform at the highest level for Ulster Rugby, overcoming injury setbacks to return to Ireland's Six Nations squad in 2026.
The partnership will see Stockdale represent OXEN Sports on and off the field, wearing the brand's performance footwear and supporting the development and promotion of its growing rugby and lifestyle collections.
Lee Jenkinson, Chief Executive Officer of OXEN Sports, said:
"We're delighted to welcome Jacob to the OXEN family. He's a player who has achieved some incredible things in the game, and his performances for Ireland.
What really appeals to us about Jacob is his character, determination and ability to overcome challenges. He's demonstrated the resilience and ambition that we look for in our athletes, and those qualities align perfectly with our Engineered to Inspire philosophy.
We're continuing to build an exciting roster of athletes across both codes of rugby, working closely with players who believe in our products and want to be part of the journey as we grow the OXEN brand internationally. Today’s announcement is a significant step on our expansion into Northern Ireland and beyond.
"We're looking forward to working with Jacob and seeing him represent OXEN on some of rugby's biggest stages."
Jacob Stockdale said "I'm really excited to be joining OXEN Sports. Having spoken to the team and seen what they're building, it's clear there's a real passion for rugby and a commitment to developing products that help players perform at their best.
I'm looking forward to being part of the brand's journey, working with the team and representing OXEN both on and off the pitch.”
