OXEN Sports is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Dolphins.
The partnership marks another significant milestone in OXEN's international growth, bringing together one of rugby league's newest and most ambitious clubs with a British sportswear brand built on a passion for the game, innovation and storytelling.
OXEN's approach to the partnership goes beyond the traditional role of a technical kit supplier. Positioning itself as a lifestyle brand that creates performance sportswear, rather than simply a kit manufacturer, OXEN is committed to delivering products that supporters are proud to wear both on and off the field.
At the heart of that philosophy is a belief that every club has a unique identity, and every kit should have a story to tell.
The Dolphins' 2027 home kit will provide the first opportunity for supporters to experience that approach, with a design that celebrates the club's identity through carefully considered details and storytelling.
Speaking about the partnership, Lee Jenkinson, CEO of OXEN Sports, said:
"We're incredibly proud to be joining the Dolphins at such an exciting stage in the club's journey.
Whilst OXEN brand is now seen around the world, we have significant roots in the UK capital of Rugby League, Hull, where World Champions Hull KR ruled supreme against this Brisbane Broncos earlier this year, and Hull City became a partner for their new Premier League season, it’s a City where sport is part of the fabric of everyday life.
We understand what clubs mean to their supporters, and we understand that a kit is so much more than something players wear on matchday.
Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do, and Dolphins fans will begin to see that with the 2027 home kit. We're really excited to reveal what we've been working on."
As part of its long-term commitment to the partnership and continued growth across Australia, OXEN has invested in a new Australian headquarters and distribution centre.
The investment will strengthen the brand's local operations, improve its ability to service Australian partners and customers, and support its expanding retail presence.
Dolphins VIPs were given an exclusive first look at the new range during a special preview event at the Lord Alfred on Sunday, with early feedback highlighting the quality, attention to detail and premium finish of the products.
Jenkinson added:
"After years of relationship building, planning and multiple trips from the UK to Redcliffe to execute all the finer details, one of the things we're most excited about is getting the first ever OXEN NRL products into the hands of Dolphins supporters.
We want people to feel the quality for themselves, see the attention to detail and recognise the difference in what we're bringing to the market.
The response from supporters who attended our preview event at the Lord Alfred has been phenomenal. People have been genuinely surprised by the step up in quality and the level of detail in the products, and that's exactly the reaction we want.
Our investment in a new Australian headquarters and distribution centre demonstrates how seriously we're taking this partnership and our ambitions in Australia. We're here to build something for the long term."
The partnership also comes ahead of a significant expansion of OXEN's Australian footwear presence, with the brand's 2027 boot collection set to arrive in rebel stores.
Beyond technical apparel and retail, OXEN sees the partnership as an opportunity to help grow the Dolphins' profile internationally.
Through its established UK distribution network, club partnerships and digital content platforms, OXEN will work to introduce the Dolphins to new audiences, particularly across the rugby league heartlands of northern England.
The brand has already begun that process, teasing the partnership through LED advertising at some of the UK's biggest sporting occasions, including the Super League Grand Final, Leeds Rhinos' semi-final and a Hull City Premier League fixture.
Jenkinson continued:
"We have a huge opportunity to help make the Dolphins everyone's favourite NRL team in the UK.
Our relationships, retail network and content platforms give us the ability to introduce the club to a completely new audience, and that's something we're passionate about.
We've already started that journey by featuring the Dolphins across our LED advertising at the Super League Grand Final and Leeds Rhinos' semi-final.
Those platforms aren't just about growing awareness of OXEN. We want to use them to help grow the Dolphins brand too. That's what a genuine partnership should look like.
There's a real appetite for the NRL in the UK, and we believe the Dolphins have a fantastic opportunity to build a following on the other side of the world.”
